2018 Juventus Tournament of Champions

With the high level of play in this tournament, A.C. Marin had their work cut out for them. Since there were 5 teams in the 2005 Premiere bracket, the 1st place champion was going to be determined by overall standings. They opened the tournament against Atletico Santa Rosa Pumas, and in a game that was back and forth, A.C. Marin pulled away with a 2-1 win. In the second game, they would face Chaos Soccer Academy. A.C. Marin was in control of this game from start to finish with a convincing 5-2 win. A.C. Marin faced Santa Rosa United Gold in their third game and cruised to a 7-1 win. It came down to the last game to determine the Champion. A.C. Marin would face Diablo F.C. NPL, which was trailing A.C. Marin by one point in the overall standings. A.C. Marin with a tie or win would hold on to 1st place. In the final showdown, A.C. Marin opened up the score early and was up 2-0 within the first 10 minutes, But Diablo FC. NPL came back with a fury and tied it 2-2 right before halftime. A.C. Marin made some adjustments at halftime and dominated the second half and got the win with a final score of 4-2. A.C. Marin earned a first-place finish in the overall standings and with this becoming the 2018 Juventus Tournament of Champions, Champions!! A great way to start the Fall season! Cal North Presidents State Cup Champions!

After placing in 1st place in the group stage, the Northbay Timbers would face Half Moon Bay in the Presidents Cup Final.

In the group stage, the Northbay Timbers opened up the tournament with a 3-1 win against Half Moon Bay. In the second game, they would face Anderson AC, after a hard-fought battle the game ended in a 1-1 draw.  The North Bay Timbers finished the group phase with a 6-0 win vs Jamestown SF Madrid. Northbay Timbers finished the group stage in 1st place with 2 wins and 1 tie. With Half Moon Bay defeating Anderson AC 4-3, that placed Half Moon Bay in 2nd place in the group stage. This would set up the Presidents State Cup final with Northbay Timbers v.s. Half Moon Bay.

The Final was intense from the beginning. Right off the bat the Northbay Timbers had 2 great opportunities to open up the score, but could not finish their attacking plays. Half Moon Bay scored 1st off a breakaway play. With this, the North Bay Timbers got over their Championship game jitters and started dominating the field and even it up within 5 minutes(Osvaldo Real), making it a 1-1 game. Right before halftime, the North Bay Timbers would get their second goal(Osvaldo Real). Going into halftime up 2-1 in favor of the North Bay Timbers. The second half was all Timbers. Shortly after kick off the Timbers attacked the Half Moon Bay with some nice combination passing and a nice finish to go up 3-1(Rafael Gonzalez). North Bay Timbers defense held their ground the second half, holding Half Moon Bay to only 4 shots, 2 on goal. With Timbers in full control of the game, midway through the second half, Timbers went up 4-1(Osvaldo Real), and right before the game would end, Timbers scored another goal (Kyle Garcia) and the game finished 5-1. With this win, the Northbay Timbers would be crowned the 2017/2018 Presidents State Cup Champions earning them a spot at the 2018 US Youth Soccer Far West Presidents Cup in Salt Lake City, Utah. 2017 Champions Cup Champions!!

Elite Tournament Champions

The 2005 Boys North Bay Timbers opened the tournament with a win against a strong opponent. Defeating Manteca 3-1 in a close game that could have gone either way. In the second game of the group stage, they faced the Elite Orange 06 boys who are ranked 5th in Northern California and 20th in the country. It was a hard fought game that ended in a 1-1 draw. In the last game of the group stage, the Timbers faced Delta United and pulled out a 2-0 win, placing the Timbers in 1st place of their group and with that advancing to the Finals where they would face Atletico United from Stockton.

In the Final, the North Bay Timbers 2005 boys gave it all they got with goals from Osvaldo Real, Kyle Garcia, Erik Rodriguez, and Christopher Maldonado. Timbers strong defense was able to hold Atletico to a shutout and with that the Timbers won it all with a solid 4-0 win. Congratulations to the Westside Northbay Timbers 2005 Boys for bringing in yet again another 1st place tournament finish!

2017 Adidas Beaverton Cup Champions!!

After a hard fought 1st round and semifinal games, the Northbay Timbers 2005 boys made it to the Championship game against the Westside Metros Timbers from Beaverton, Oregon.

  The Northbay Timbers 2005 boys opened up the tournament against the Westside Metros and fell to them in a close battle 0-1. In their second game they finished in a 2-2 draw against Sacramento Union F.C. In the third and last game in the 1st round group stage they won 8-0 against 4-H Toros FC. With a second place finish in the 1st round. In the semifinals the Northbay Timbers 2005 boys faced Santa Rosa Empire Salsa FC who finished first in their group stage. Northbay Timbers 2005 boys beat Santa Rosa Empire Salsa 4-2.

  In the Final it was a rematch from the opening game match. After falling 0-1 in the first meeting against the Westside Metros, the Northbay Timbers 2005 boys gave it all they had beating Westside Metros 2-1. It was a tough match, playing 5 games in 3 days brought the best out of the boys. Big praise to the Northbay Timbers 2005 boys for winning the Adidas Beaverton Cup! Go Timbers!!!!

Nevada Governors Cup Champions

The 2005 Boys bring in another 1st place finish. Winning the Nevada Governers Cup. With some great matches in the 1st round, the boys were able to finish in 1st place in the first round, automatically placing them in the Final. In the Final they faced the Sagerbrush Rovers, Northern Nevada's Champion. In the 1st round they had already faced each other. The score ended up at a 1-1 draw between Timbers & Sagebrush. In the Final it was a different story. Timbers played tough and dominated the game. At halftime Timbers were up 3-0, with Goals by Osvaldo Real Christopher Maldonado, and Rafael Gonzalez. Timbers were able to hold the lead and win it all with a 3-1 final score.
